Fall road trip 2016

We started off with: a bag of sugar.

Dropped Polly at an old hippy's home and crossed our fingers.

Stopped at Glenwood Springs to do the Adventure Park.

We took the gondola up the mountains.

Yes, it is an amusement park on top of a mountain. The coolest little theme and fun rides. The girls did the swing...and were whipped around the mountains. So brave!

It was a cute western theme.

We ate at a local place called "Slope and Hatch". It was a tiny little restaurant with a cute urban/hipster look and THE best food EVER. Look at what they had for brunch that day!

Went to Grand Junction for the first night. Ate at a Texas favorite of ours...Macalisters.

Look how thrilled our children are.
At least Josh and I are happy!

Up the next day for a Starbucks bite.

A drive to Arches National Park.
Loved it!

We explored and drove...

Got out and hiked a bit

A bit more

Getting a bit hot!

After awhile, we are about done seeing these amazing rocks, stones and sites...

On the road...we hit up a Moab brewery for lunch.
On the road again.
Feelin' a  wee bit car crazy.
Then to Cracker Barrel for a late dinner.

We got lost a bit.
In the dark.
In the middle of nowhere.
With no cell service.
Uh.

BUT finally found the house!
Steve got this UNBELIEVABLE home in the vineyards of Sedona.
It was one of the most amazing homes we have ever stayed in.
We jumped in the hot tub right away with the fam....
