My mom turned 70 this year!
We started off at one of our favorite patio restaurants downtown Castle Rock.
Then to a really awesome brewery near here (Breckinridge Brewery Farmhouse Restaurant)
They brew some of the best brews in Colorado and have a huge field to play and hang...
With huge fire pits.
And games to play! (for us silly one's)
How blessed and loved we are by her.
Then to Steve's for THE most yummy berry cake (Chantilly cake at Whole Foods) and sweet, special presents...
I worked hard and long (with joyful special tears!) on a picture book of her 70 memories of her precious life. I had so many of her friends and family send me pictures and words about her, her life, favorite memories and love. It was very very special to give her. A highlight of the day.
It was so fun to get pictures like these from friends and family near and far.
I gave her a James Avery ring that resembled the circle of love all around her.
We always seem to add something fun to all of our get-togethers so these mustaches were a fit.
A few of us got a bit carried away!
Hold on Mom, what a ride it's been the past 70 years...
